When neighbors fall in love designed by ALL in Studio

What better way to selebrate Valentines day than sharing the love between two people…. Or apartments! When Neighbors Fall in LOVE is the name of the interior design project of Pavel Yanev of ALL in Studio. After two neighbors fell in love, they chose to unit their neighboring apartments into one contemporary design in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The couple shares a love of food so the apartment is centered around the elevated kitchen, which features a cantilevered island.  Their desire was not to have transitional rooms. The bathrooms, kitchen, hallway and laundry room are situated in the northern part of the apartment and respectively on the periphery of the outer walls. The living room and two bedrooms are designed and placed to enjoy the maximum amount of light and heat, which are fundamental to the comfort of every home.

The palette is kept simple with a mix of black and white, balanced with greys and wood tones. The wooden walls in the bedroom were brought up from the floor to create a sense of warmth. The angled tub has sight lines to the mountain views, as it’s open to the bedroom. Photos by Minko Minev
